Dr. Rhyan Mercado opens new chiropractic observe

PITTSTON – A new practice from Dr. Rhyan Mercado opened May 1st at the Pittston Chiropractic Clinic.

Dr. Mercado attended Bucknell University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Art. He then graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic and received a doctorate in chiropractic.

He has practiced in Pennsylvania for 14 years and is trained in a variety of recruitment techniques including Gonstead, Diversified, and Palmer Package.

Dr. Mercado was born in the Philippines and grew up in Carlisle. During his tenure as a chiropractic student, he participated in contact programs in the Dominican Republic and Bolivia.

He is a participating provider with Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Highmark, American Specialty Health, Geisinger, Medicare and many other insurance carriers. He is also a registered DOT examiner and can perform physical exams for all vehicle driver’s licenses.

Dr. Mercado are:

Monday – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Wednesday – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Thursday – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday – 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
