Thanksgiving and traffic go together like turkey and dressing. Fortunately, Google has tips on how to avoid traffic jams on the road. The tech giant used historical traffic data from Google Maps to determine the best and worst times to travel to and from Houston on this vacation.
To avoid traffic, according to Google, you should leave early. The best time to take to the streets is at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving, with a return on the Saturday after Thanksgiving at 6 a.m.
The worst day to leave is Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, at 3 p.m.
