She turned to three years ago Chiropractic with the highest of health for help. Once a month, she travels about three hours to get an adjustment to relieve her migraines.
“We reduced my migraines, I used to have over 20 migraines a month and that was terrible, I was just sick, so I decided to do something about it and I came here and Dr. Nate helped me a lot and “Now my migraines are down to about 9 a month,” Miller said.

Doctor Nate DeJong says for Miller that focusing on the upper neck area helps reduce migraines.
“The nerve from the top of the neck, many of them actually circle back to the head. So when there is a misalignment or dysfunction it can very often go a huge part in why people suffer from headaches and migraines on a consistent basis, ”said Nate DeJong, owner of Highest Health Chiropractic.
Not only was Miller cared for to ease her migraines, but she also had the opportunity to learn more about her birth mother, who lives in Sioux Falls.
“I was adopted and didn’t meet her until after high school,” Miller said. “So I met her and it’s been good ever since and now I realize I have migraines from my birth mother,” Miller said.
Care that can make a big difference.
“We solve these, they feel better, their headaches are reduced or go away completely, and they can function significantly better,” said DeJong.
Miller typically has two appointments in a day during her monthly visit to reduce travel expenses.
