LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A chiropractor’s license in Lafayette has been compromised after several patients claimed he sexually molested them.
It’s a story that News 18 has been working on since March.
Several complaints against Dr. James Pucka submitted.

According to records filed on May 7, one patient said Pucka had told her that “one of them would be naked by the end of the appointment” and that he would not be.
The same patient claims that Pucka put his fingers under her bra straps, causing her breasts to move. She said he told her that her breasts were beautiful but the cause of her back pain.
Another patient said Pucka put his body between her legs and pressed his groin against her groin during an appointment.
She said she asked if he was finished and Pucka allegedly asked if the patient heard him unpack.
Pucka reportedly showed another patient a picture of a person who was handcuffed and handcuffed and then suggested that position as a possible treatment.
According to the Attorney General, she has requested a hearing to suspend Pucka’s license for 90 days.
At the hearing, after the parties present their evidence and arguments, the Indiana State Board of Chiropractic Examiners will decide whether or not to approve the Attorney General’s motion.
The request for an emergency hearing is the Attorney General’s motion to hold a hearing on their petition prior to the July 8th Board meeting.
If the board does not grant the request for an emergency hearing, the hearing will be held on July 8th. If the board approves the application, the board chooses a date that is unknown at this point in time.
We have made several attempts to get Dr. Reaching out to Pucka since we worked on this story, but he hasn’t commented yet.
