The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Life University, Dr. Kevin Fogarty, and the President, Dr. Rob Scott, recently received two FCLB Individual Awards from the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards.
Dr. Fogarty was awarded the Arvidson Award 2021 for Merit, and Dr. Scott was honored with the 2020 Janse Award, which provides the opportunity to speak during the Joseph Janse Lecture Series held to regulators for chiropractic licenses and the profession as a whole.
Dr. Fogarty’s George Arvidson Award for Services to Chiropractic is the FCLB’s highest individual honor. It was named after the former president of the FCLB, Dr. George Arvidson, of Minnesota, names and recognizes integrity, service, sacrifice, vision, and commitment in the field of chiropractic licensing.
The FCLB founded the Joseph Janse Lecture Series in 1990 to address Dr. To recognize Joseph Janse’s legendary oratorial talent and lifelong insistence that those who dedicate themselves to chiropractic must continually question the status quo. Speakers for the Janse lecture series are selected by a committee of the FCLB Board for their speaking skills, their ability to envision future opportunities and to encourage regulatory audiences to consider new perspectives and perspectives in their approaches to public protection . Since the 2020 series has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Scott will be giving his talk this summer.
