Many Houstonians look forward to celebrating New Year’s Eve in style. We also know that there are these cautious souls who would prefer to stay home – because we are still in the middle of a pandemic.
This year we’ve decided to round up a dozen New York baker’s events – some of them will be virtual, some will be open.
Attend an online event where artists and creatives can come together and get creative. You can speak, show, perform, demonstrate, cook, announce, tell a story, suggest a soundtrack, and do anything before the clock strikes 12:20:30.
Azura Bar & Lounge
The lounge offers a large space with fantastic music, club lighting and upscale areas for your party. You’ll also have celebrity DJs, refreshing cocktails, frozen drinks, delicious food, and a midnight champagne toast. 8 p.m.
A meeting is held at this location, which is free with an RSVP. With this you have two levels of fun – each level with its own DJ – and the obligatory champagne toast at midnight. You can’t get more NYE. 8 p.m.
The Houston Orchestra’s energy corridor
In short, ECHO added a music program from the 60s, 70s and 80s as a goodwill offering to the community during this pandemic time. There will also be a countdown to midnight, on time when viewers start watching at 10:30 p.m.
The iconic city center will kick off the New Year with various offers, including an elegant 4-course dinner at a fixed price. Or, reserve a table at Bayou & Bottle for $ 75 to party with bourbon all night. Or book a room and receive a 10 percent discount on your room rate, a bottle of champagne and a New Year celebration.
The Grand Tuscany Hotel
Get shindig with a Bollywood theme. Promoted by Sunil T and the Crazy Masala Crew of local Bollywood broadcaster 98.7 FM, this party features DJ NISH grooves as guests step into the food stations and the midnight champagne toast. 8 p.m.
The Grove (This event was canceled on December 29th.)
Discovery Green’s hottest hot spot will have a dazzling and dazzling bash. It will include all-inclusive bars throughout the property, appetizers and premium food stations, plus DJs, live music, party items, and anything else you can think of to celebrate in style. Get dressed to impress at this swanky soiree. 21 clock.
Live Oak Lounge & Grill
Celebrate from sunrise to sunset with The Midnight Wish NYE, its day / night party. Come and enjoy food and drink throughout the day while listening to DJs do their thing. No coverage with RSVP until 8 p.m. 4 p.m.
The Upper Kirby Club is the starting point for “All the Glitters 6”, the sixth annual block party at the end of the year. We’re talking about a buffet, a full wine bar, free party favors, hookahs, a tent pavilion, 6 DJs, stilt walkers, etc. at 8pm.
The Woodlands venue hosts a concert of music by the Rick Marcel Band. All entertainment is offered outdoors in Central Park. The guests are invited to enjoy the music from one of the marked circles with social distance. 14 o’clock.
Montrose’s mainstay is going virtual with its spectacular version available on this player-friendly live streaming platform Twitch. Don’t worry – there will still be music, prizes, and a balloon drop while the longtime club says a good break for this terrible year. 21 clock.
Simple space HTX
Look for a very lavish soiree with tickets ranging from $ 35 to $ 1,100. Mariam Echo will be delivering live music while a rotating array of DJs with hip-hop, R&B, reggae, soca, etc. will arrive at 8pm.
The Westin in the woods
In addition to a party over the Woodlands Waterway, this hotel offers a getaway too. Say goodbye to this year with live music, champagne at midnight, a room at the Westin, and a New Year’s brunch for two. 21 clock.
The Woodlands Resort
Another inn in Woodlands will be hosting a family celebration. The venue offers a fun day of crafts, karaoke, games, and other festivities at the Forest Oasis heated water park. At 5:30 p.m. there is also a sparkling cider toast and a beach ball from the water slide tower. 10 am.
