The brand new household enterprise referred to as Empowered Chiropractic will open its doorways early subsequent month
GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (KKCO) – After Mark teaching at LIFE University, the largest chiropractic university in the world, the owner decided he wanted to practice again. The owner and family had been visiting Colorado for the past 12-13 years and always knew this state was home. So it was the perfect place to start his next practice. The next question was which piece of Colorado?
“We originally looked at the east side, but with a metropolitan lifestyle we came to the conclusion that we didn’t want to be part of the city anymore, we wanted something smaller,” said owner and chiropractor Mark Ferdarko. “So Grand Junction is a perfect match for us.”
They also chose Grand Junction because of the economic research that the city is on the rise. So it is the perfect time to invest in the future of this city now.
“We were originally from a small town in central Pennsylvania and Grand Junction reminds me a lot of that area and I don’t think chiropractic is as strong in smaller areas as it is in larger cities,” said Mark.
Also, the owners believe that many patients do not understand all of the benefits of chiropractic care.
“Education is so important, especially because people think I am not in pain, I have to be good, but there is much more to it than just being in pain. Pain comes and goes, but function, movement and 100%, that’s a lifetime, ”said co-owner and chiropractor Cullen Ferdarko.
Their mission and goal is to educate the community about what they have to offer, what it takes to be a healthy person and live the lifestyle they want.
“Including chiropractic care is nothing more than incorporating it into your lifestyle,” says Mark. “We really want you to be able to function and go out and do what you want to do, and we don’t want me to be able to.”
Services include spine adjustments, extremity adjustments, traction, massage therapy and a state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine. As well as a full range of nutritional supplements.
“Most people have x-rays so we can see what needs to be adjusted, how it needs to be adjusted, and at the same time things we may not adjust and refer you to,” said Mark.
“So many people think it’s all about neck and back pain. In reality, we encounter pretty much everything in the body, ”Cullen said of headaches and migraines as he used to. We also had mothers who were infertile, couldn’t have children, and then, after a handful of adjustments with corrective care, finally realized that there was an opportunity to have a child. “
Empowered Chiropractic takes a team approach. As for nursing, the 2 chiropractors will compromise on adjustments. That way, if one of them sees something differently from the other, it can be seen from more than one angle.
Cullen also shared his personal experiences as he has a martial arts background. Chiropractic prevented him from getting injured when his teammates did so, so in part he sees this as giving something back to the community.
“I know if it helped me it will help you,” said Cullen.
The preliminary opening day is set for July 7th. However, the business owners are willing to do a soft opening sooner as they now have a patient room ready for adjustments. To request a visit or to make an appointment, visit https://empoweredchiropracticgj.com
